I am a linguist with the following research interests: cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistics, typical and atypical language acquisition and development, language testing, language pathology and communication disorders. I have developed 'The Spatial Tasks', a standardised psychometric test which assesses verbal and non-verbal spatial skills in children and adults.I have also developed 'The AvEn Test', a standardised language test battery aimed to assess aviation English in pilots and air traffic controllers.
